 Everest.Net Installation – System Consultant/ IT Department

This guide shows how to install Everest.Net on a User’s PC.

Obtain the location of the Setup file and STP from your Everest consultant.

Open the installation folder:

Step 1 Install Everest.Net from the setup file (there are no special settings)

Step 2 Copy over the STP files to the connections folder, which is accessed by opening Windows Explorer → Type/Copy %AppData% in the address bar and press enter. Navigate to the connections folder: \EBSphere (Pty) Ltd\Everest.Net\Connections:

Step 3 Create a folder called “EverestTemp” on the C:Drive.This will be the location where all files are saved when generated from Everest Batch Management, which is necessary for running any version of Everest.

Step 4 Open the Everest.Net application and log in. The Database field is a drop down which allows you to select from available databases. This should correspond with the name of the STP file copied to the connections folder.

Step 5 After successfully login, close Everest.Net. This creates additional settings on the first login.

If there are any additional issues, go back to the connections folder:

(C:\Users\(**useraccount**\AppData\Roaming\EBSphere (PTY) LTD\Everest.Net\Connections)

Delete any additional STP files that may have been created. Only delete files if there is more than one connection in the drop down, for that database. Note that there will be separate STP files for Live and Test database.
