RESETTING OF A USER’S PASSWORD

Resetting of a User’s Password

Using the Search pane, input the user’s details (Surname or first Name).

Select People > Search (from the top menu options)

Select the applicable users record and double click on the view hyperlink.

When the Person Details screen opens, select the System Information tab.

Click on the “Edit” button and delete the Password currently in the field (*************).

Retype in a new temporary password.

Ensure that the Expires date is prior to the current date.

Press Save button

Check that if the User Locked field has been ticked, it is unticked before you save the new password.
