Checking for an existing Bank or Branch
All banks and branch codes are preloaded. When loading new details, ensure that the branch does not already exist.
Go to the Administration Menu at the top of the screen. Select Financial Settings and then Banks.

The screen that opens will reflect all Banks loaded on the system.

Pressing Ctrl + F on this screen will bring up a search function option.

When searching make sure to search for full names AND abbreviations. e.g., Standard Bank OR STD Bank.
To search for a branch, if the Bank already exists, select the “Branches” hyperlink.


The screen that opens will reflect the branches currently loaded on the system.

Pressing Ctrl + F on this screen will bring up a search function option.

When searching make sure to search for branch names AND branch codes. e.g., Vryheid OR 511024.
Adding a new Bank
If a new Bank is to be created, double click on “Click here to add a new row” to add the new record.

Populate the Bank Name and the relevant country, then select “Update”

Adding a new Branch
Should a new branch need to be created, double click on the Branches hyperlink.

Double click on “Click here to add a new row” to add the new record.

Populate the relevant fields – minimum requirements are Branch Name and Branch Code - then select “Update”
